If you didn't bother to read the rules, your character has to be a start of an evolution family. It can evolve into the character you want though.

Here's the checklist of creating your character.

(Name) Obviously, the name.
(Location) Where he is at the start of the story. If you want to start at the same place as someone else, request at the chat section.
(Personality) Please be descriptive about this. I want to know if your character is serious or calm. Don't just put one word.
(Moveset) Just put a link to him on bulbapedia. It shows all his moves. Here's the link. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Main_Page Just search your character up and put him in a link.
